1. Who are you? Are you a registered company?
B2win Translations is a web-based translation agency. B2win Translations is a registered business in Italy and our Italian VAT number is IT-08626491008
2. I'm worried about privacy...
All data and material exchange (between our clients and us &/or between our company and our translators) are protected by Italy Privacy Act. B2win Translations collects and uses personal information as per Law 675/1996 on privacy.
3. Do you have any terms and conditions?

4. What is a professional translation?
Professional translation, aka human translation is a process involving an actual professional translating a document from one language to another.
5. How do I receive a quotation for my project? Do you charge for quotations?
You only need to send us an e-mail. We prefer to receive documents by e-email, whenever its possible. We will quickly evaluate your material and usually send an estimate in 24 hours (or even before if you are in a rush). All quotations are completely FREE and no obligatory.
6. How do I know how many words my document has?
If the document is in Microsoft Word, the easiest way is using the Word Count function in the Word Tools Menu. Otherwise if the document is in another format, you can send the file/material by e-mail or fax and we will be happy to provide a free estimate. If the document is lenghty, you can fax us some sample pages on which we can base an estimate.
7. By what methods can you receive and deliver documents?
By e-mail, fax, courier. We can save it in a CD, DVD or floppy-disc. Please let us know what is easiest way for you.

9. What kind of documents can you translate?
B2win translations specializes in a variety of fields including: technical translations, legal translations, sworm translations, website translations and localization, commercial translations, financial translations, medical and scientifical translations, marketing translations.
10. How long does the translation process take?
This depends on the lenght of the document, the complexity and content of the text, and also the formatting requirements. On average we translate around 1000-1500 words per working day.
11. I have a text with many repetitions can I pay less than the full price?
If the text has paragraphs or sentences that recur several times without many differences, we can negotiate a lower price. Please point out this aspect when asking for an estimate.
12. My document is a hardcopy not electronic. Can you translate it?
Of course we do. You just need to send it to us by fax or courier and your material will be translated.
13. Do you process files in graphical formats? Will my document be formatted for print?
Text can be extracted from almost any type of format, but it may require additional work and extra fees. Depending on the format of your document (es.: image files with pictures) format is not included as part of our standard service. Let us know if you require formatting and well take care of it for a reasonable add-on fee.
14. Who performs the translations? Are your translations done my native speakers?
We work with a worldwide network of expert and native speaker translators. They are people who have education and/or practical experience in the specific field(s) they work with. We match these information (expertise and language pair involved) to find the right translator to your project.
15. What if I must have a 100-page document translated in 2-3 days?
Translators generally produce about 1000-1500 words per business day. But if you are in a hurry we can do expedite services for which we charge additional rush fees. Its is important to remember that in such a case two, three or more translators will have to be involved in the project which may result in some morphology inconsistentes and in insufficient time for extra reviews of the content. For a highly qualified translation, its advisable to budget ample time for the whole translation and review process.
16. How much do translations cost?
Our rates are among the most competitives and offer the best value. Translations are priced according to: number of words (more words you pay less), kind of translation, deadline, format of the source document, format of the finished document, language pairs, complexity and level of specialization required.
17. How do I pay? What kind of payment do you accept?
You can pay online using a secure form and your credit card. You can also arrange a bank transfer, cheque, Paypal or Moneybookers.
18. Why so I have to pay before I see my translations? How do I make sure they will be sent?
Its not mandatory to pay in advance, but payments in advance allow us to negotiate the best final price with our cooperators. Nowadays we pay in advance for a lot of services/products: flight tickets, hotel reservations, eBay auctions. You are garanteed by using a credit card to pay the translation. This system guarantees everyones security.
19. Do I have to pay Value Added Tax (VAT)?
All prices are exclusive of the 20% VAT, which will be added to the net rate only in the event that the Client is a resident of Italy.
20. Is my credit card number secure?
B2win Translations uses a 128 bit encryption by Paypal. Once you log into the secure payment system you will notice a little lock on your browser. This is a garantee that SSL encryption has been used and that it is almost impossible to hack into your system.
21. What if I am unhappy with my translation? How are corrections and amendments managed?
In the unlikely event you are unhappy with your translation, we will work on it until it earns your satisfacion. Amendments, integrations or style changes requested after the delivery date will be invoiced.
22. Are the services provided by B2win Translations covered by professional liability insurance?
